Pack up those family photos before showings! De-personalizing is probably the easiest and least expensive thing you can do to get your home ready for sale. You’ll often here this as the #1 rule in home staging. 

TIP 4: COMPLETE ANY NECESSARY HOME REPAIRS

Small deficiencies can be a BIG turnoff to buyers. If you’re not a handyman/woman, invest in a professional to complete these repairs prior to showings. Leaving these deficiencies (even if they are minor) can create the impression that your home is not well-maintained – ultimately, impacting the offer price.
